The director said, 'Screenwriter Dinil PK came to me with a plan for a Malayalam film. When I read it, it had a lot of dance moves and sequences. We didn't think it would be easy to find an actor in Kerala who could be a part of a complete dance musical. That's why we decided to make the film in Tamil and cast Prabhu Deva for this film.' The film will hit the theatres on September 27.
