Sikdar told that he is in charge of the hostel warden from November 2022. He was running the hostel. Sikdar had to take payment of bills worth Rs 4.50 lakh for the ration material (wheat, pulses, rice, fruits, vegetables etc.) purchased for running the students' mess during the period of June and July 2024. Abhishek Pandey, Principal of Government Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential School, Jobat District Alirajpur, demanded 10 percent bribe from Sikdar for payment of bills. On this, applicant Sikardar Kanesh submitted a complaint before the Superintendent of Police at Lokayukta office, Indore on 23.09.2024. Principal caught red handed After the complaint was found to be true, a crime was registered against the accused principal under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Amendment Act 2018, a team was formed and the team reached the official residence of the accused in Jobat district Alirajpur. The applicant reached here to give a bribe amount of Rs 30,000 in cash to the accused Principal Abhishek Pandey. In the bedroom of the said residence, accused Abhishek Pandey Principal took the bribe amount of Rs 30,000 from the applicant Sikdar Kanesh and kept it in his right pocket. The applicant came out of the residence and signaled to the Lokayukta team. Similarly, the Lokayukta team went inside the residence, held the hands of the accused principal and got his hands washed in a solution containing chemicals. When the color of the solution turned pink, the accused was caught with a scarf. The bribe amount of Rs 30,000 was seized and the accused was arrested. After this the accused was released on bail bond. Lokayukta team's DSP Dineshchandra Patel, Anirudh Wadhia and Inspector Rahul Gajbhiye, PR Pramod Yadav, constable Anil Parmar, Pawan Patoria, Chandramohan Bisht, Aditya Bhadauria, Shri Krishna and Sher Singh played a role in the above commendable work.
