MP News: MPIDC Woke Up To Bhopal Drugs Scandal, Now Decided To Check Lease Conditions In 20 Thousand Factories Of The State.

After the discovery of drugs worth Rs 1800 crore in a factory in Bagroda Industrial Area of the capital Bhopal, MPSIDC will now get the conditions of lease contracts tested in the factories of the state. Regarding this, the MD of MPIDC has issued a letter to the executive directors of five regions of the state. In this, factories with new lease contracts have been asked to test them and submit a report within 15 days. Factory plot number F-63 of Bagroda is in the name of Jaideep Singh. Jaideep Singh had given the factory space on rent to a person named SK Singh, where the work of manufacturing MD drugs was being done. Now in this matter MPIDC has issued a notice as per the Act. In this, reply has been sought within 60 days.
Lease holders cannot give on rent
Actually, as per the industry law, the leased space cannot be given on rent. This is a violation of the lease contract. As per rules, it is necessary to take permission from MPIDC for transferring the lease. Whereas no information was given in this matter. Now after Jaideep Singh's reply in this matter, action for lease cancellation will be taken.
Testing soon in Bagroda Industrial Area
A meeting was held between MPIDC officials, police and industrial association on Monday in Bagroda Industrial Area of Bhopal. In this it has been agreed that the factories will be examined to see whether anyone has given his factory on rent. However, senior officials have instructed officials not to harass any factory operator in the name of testing. If any complaint is received in this regard, action will be taken against them also.
Instructions for testing to all EDs
MPIDC MD Chandramouli Shukla said that instructions have been given to all EDs to test the factories with new lease contracts. Notice has been given to the factory operator of Bagroda. After this, the process of canceling the lease will be done as per the Act.
