Australia defeated England by 28 runs in the first T20 match played in Southampton. With this win, Australia has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20 series. Batting first, Mitchell Marsh's team scored 179 runs in 19.3 overs. In reply, England's team was all out for 151 runs in 19.2 overs. In this match, Travis Head played an explosive innings of 59 runs. He thrashed Sam Curran. At the same time, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott bowled lethally. The second match of the series will be played in Cardiff on 13 September.
